another question!

i used a wilkinet for a while & ohmygosh did the straps annoy me. constantly dragging tails of fabric around with me & getting in tangles. fine at home but we are out & about a lot - the low point was trying to put her on in a crowded tube carriage. anyway, am i likely to have a similar objection to a mei tai?

I have never heard of a Wilkinet so I looked it up. It seems pretty similar to a MT except it has formed shoulder straps like a SSC and a long waist straps, right? I would think if that drove you crazy then 4 long straps of the MT would drive you even more crazy. However, MT are so comfortable, it may be worth the hassle, if you kwim. Then again that Wilkinet they are so similar I don't know if there would be much difference- I could be wrong though, I have absolutely no experience with those. For what its worth, I have struggled and struggled with our MT but I love it so much it has been totally worth it. The long straps are becoming less and less annoying as I get use to putting on the MT.

i cant stand the long ties while out myself and thats why i use an onbuhimo.
i put it in the tibetan tie and tuck the ends in to the straps and voila
