Bread baker's! Need your thoughts & recipe recs PLEASE

I am planning on making these Bierocks for dinner, but want to make my own bread to go with it. Preferably a healthier whole wheat bread.

I was thinking that something with rosemary or some herbs would be good. What do you think?

Does anyone have have a recipe that would go well with this?

(I have Laure's kitchen bread book, but I'm so new to baking bread that I don't know what to choose for this recipe.)

These are soooo good! We made them a couple weeks ago. When we made them we used our standard pizza dough recipe (with half ww flour and some wheat germ mixed in) and substituted our homemade sauerkraut for the cabbage. Our whole family loved them and we will definitely make them again!!

Thanks treemom. I ended up doing the buttermilk bread recipe from Laurel's breadbook. I just took a guess and picked one. LOL. I didn't even think to use our pizza crust recipe. This is the one we use.

They turned out delicious! DH would LOVE it if I did sauerkraut in place of just regular cabbage. I'll have to try that next time. We really enjoyed them and will be doing them again too.
