After looking through that website, my sis and I started talking about how interesting it is how culinary tastes change (classic, timeless cooking notwithstanding) and then we started wondering what foods that we eat now might our kids or our grandkids look back on and be horrified?
We thought, just as an example:
sh*& on a shingle
taco salad (already a bit dated. and, as with pretzel salad, "salad" should really be in quotes!)
"white" lasagna (chicken and cream sauce)
dessert fruit "pizza"
I'm not saying that I think any of these things are gross NOW (for the most part, I totally don't) but that, if looking at them objectively, you might see how they'll be perceived a generation or so from now...
Any other contributions?
