Just a quick question about the syntax used to insert semicolons.
I often use the quick reply box and type in the smilie codes, rather than going into advanced mode and opening the pop-up box to click on them. I've noticed that about half of the smilie codes have a semicolon only at the beginning, while the other half have a semicolon before and after.
Is there a reason it was done this way? I'm guessing there must be, but if not, it would be nice if a consistent format was chosen, it would make it a lot simpler to write up posts. I'm nitpicky and hate having to go back and edit a post to remove stray semicolons
Just something to consider. Thanks!

I will keep it on the list.
