Yeah! I finally joined the post partum club!
Our 2nd daughter Emory Jane was born at home this morning at 3:07am. She was enormous! Which explains why it was such an intense labor for me. And pushing... I'm not even going to go there right now. Intense doesn't even begin to capture the feeling. She was 9lbs 10 oz and 22 inches long. Nothing went like I had imagined, and unfortunately my hypnobabies wasn't too helpful toward the end... but I did it! It was crazy!
Big sister Zoe is totally enamored and obsessed with her right now. She won't leave her alone, which is already becomming a little bit challenging. But, I'm just glad she's positive toward her and not angry or jealous.
I'll post a birth story and pictures as soon as I get around to writing it out.
