10pm Bedtime Club - Page 6

I finally did it! I was in bed before 10 last night.
I'm trying to adjust to a cpap machine for apnea so I wasn't asleep at 10 but just being there is great for me.

And yes, I am bad to be posting to this thread at this time of night, but in my defense, I've been getting to bed just a bit later than the kids for most of the past week since we're on vacation, and it's really helped. I feel happier and hopefully I'll keep up the good habits when I get back home.
Well, my doc (who is also my girls' DAN) recommended it. And since I think he hung the moon, I gave it a shot. It's totally helping. Apparently it can act as a stimulant in some people but not all. It's really an interesting supplement.

I have a custom amino blend too that I only started a few days ago. I think that'll help as well.

And don't you know that posting to *this* thread at 3 a.m. is a

It wasn't 3am my time! But it was far too late. But I'd had a last big splurge on soda, the stuff is killing me and I'm really quitting this time. I think subbing nettles in during my late-afternoon slump will help ease the transition. Maybe I can start buying in bulk and get the whole extended family hooked!

Good night ladies! Yeah, sbgrace!

I'm trying again this week for 4/7 nights by 10pm. (not a great start...lol)

6/1 probably about 10:30pm
6/2 after midnight
6/3 after midnight
6/4 about 11pm
6/5 about 9:30pm exhausted
6/6 about 11pm

Hmmm...might need to change the time on my clock to make it to bed by 10pm.

Haven't been walking in the mornings. Have tried for protein by 10am.

Pat, still a good idea on the thread, I think I'll be doing good for the next 2 weeks--and I won't mention how the last week went. My mom's coming to visit and help out with house stuff, and what you wrote above about getting outside is starting to seem really important to me, and it's always easier to start good habits when she's around.

When stressed, I turn into a hermit and stay inside, and not feel confined or bad, but really, I need to get out. I want to work in the yard a bit every day, I may even try barefoot, though with our ant situation (fire ants in Texas) I am not sure yet. And I'm concerned about suggesting it to the kids, the last time my son got a whole bunch of ant bites, I think it stressed his body and within a week he was mouthing things (zinc) and it took a while to fix. Sigh... trying to patiently wait for the right time for the right move.

I felt exhausted yesterday and was able to get dd and me to bed before 10. The only problem I have is that this helpful thread is on the same board with so many other threads that are helpful and distracting!

Ok, probably 11pm on Friday, after midnight last night. Heading to bed now!

Drinking my green juice and herbal infusions and bone broth and kefir... need to walk for exercise. I feel great, but...

Must sleep earlier!

I can't even get my KIDS to sleep by 10 pm!! If I could just do that, maybe I could get there too!
Is it too late to join? My DH and I really need to get to bed earlier.

Ok, my success rate is about 1/7 nights by 10pm. About 3/7 nights by 11pm. And after midnight about 2/7 nights each week. I need an incentive/carrot/reward.

Think I'll buy myself a fancy juicer if I get to bed 20/30 nights out of a month by 10pm (or hell freezes over, whichever happens first).

yea for this post

I consider myself as a late sleeper even when I was younger, but because of this post I will commit myself to be more disciplined and try sleeping as early as 10 pm

I'm up to about 3/7 nights in bed BY 10pm!!

And 5/7 nights by 11pm. And after midnight still once or twice a week.

Juicing every morning. Even dh is. : And walking most mornings. Only a couple of naps this month, after heavy wheat consumption, I noted.

How are you all doing?
