Rebozo Wrap

I can't find a review for this one. I recieved the Rebozo Wrap as a gift. I went online for instructions and it looks like you just use a simple double knot to tie it on and plop the baby inside. Has anyone used this wrap? If so, do you like it and do you think it is safe?

Check out youtube for how to do a slip knot. With a slip knot, rather than a regular knot you can adjust the rebozo as needed. Here's a picture of me using a short wrap in a rebozo carry.

I haven't used a rebozo length wrap, I want one though. I would check youtube for instruction videos though. You can see how others do it and get good tips. That's the way I've learned all the carries I do with my long wraps.

I want a shorter wrap in order to do this carry. I've done it with the wraps I have, but there's just too much left over and it gets in the way. It's very comfortable though.

Well I just tried to pull the link to the video from my youtube favorites, but they're apparently doing site maintenance right now so I'll have to edit later to add the link to the video.

a rebozo isn't a brand per se, but rather a style/length of wrap. so it's hard to tell what kind you have. but rebozos are nice - as pp's have mentioned, it's best to tie it in a slip knot and wear it similarly to a ring sling. you can also thread rings through it without sewing and wear it like a ring sling. and depending on the length of the rebozo and the size of you, you might also be able to do some other carries with it like a torso carry or a rucksack carry tying under baby's bum.
