can we talk guns??? - Page 2

Nope, no guns in this house now or later. No weapons at allas far as I am concerned. When we went to a big toy store for his birthday this year about 1/3 of the toys were related to violence. Unreal, are we really moving in that direction with all the toys? This country doesn't even have an active military so I was pretty surprised at the selection.

I agree with mama chicken. Dh is an avid hunter , so dd knows that is what daddys guns are for, she also knows police have guns. Nothing wrong with imitating adults. But she also knows she is not allowed to aim her toy gun at a person(or pet).
But I actually still had mixed feelings whan my mom gave dd a gun, water guns never wera a concern.
btw guns are all in a safe in our home
