lungs are mature!

I had an amnio this morning, got the results an hour ago, baby's lungs are mature and we're all set for c-section 9am Sunday morning, at precisely 37 weeks. I really never thought we'd be doing this, we were originally set for a homebirth. I'm feeling a bit stressed right now as I'm pretty immobile, which is making it hard to get things ready. Somethings will just have to wait until I get home, I guess.

That's the wierd thing, I'm not feeling particularly excited, I'm not feeling much anxiety either, thankfully. But my thoughts are much more focused on getting ready to recover from major surgery, not on the arrival of a new baby.
