When does this stupid line go away?

5 weeks pp, and I still have this enormous dark pigment line running up the middle of my belly. What gives. i'm so tired of looking at it

NAK here too, it gets better with practice.

You may not like the sound of this, but mine never completely went away with a year between pregnancies. I've heard of women scrubbing it away in the shower but mine never did that. It did fade dramatically though.

Popping in from the March ddc to say that mine still hasn't gone away and I delivered on 2/22! I wonder if it ever will....

With my daughter I think mine went away by 6 mos pp or so, don't remember exactly when. Mine was never super dark though.

it took very close to 3 years with Kincaid, it didn't go away till I got pregnant again 3 months before he turned 3...it never went away with Janelle, but I got pregnant again when she was like 10 months old...then it went away during my pregnancy with Travis and I never got one with Travis or River.

Mine took about 8 months or so to go away completely.

Mine lightened up considerably over a year or so. By the time I got pg w/ DD2, it was gone and didn't really show up until late this pg. Now it's glaring, and even more disgusting because of the whole bullet-in-jello belly button look I have going on right now (flabby belly...yuck...hope that Mummy Tummy book delivers on it's promise).

It will go away though...give it time. Your hormones are still a bit wacky.

I've been told it's common for the line to persist while you are nursing. W/ DS1 I didn't even get the line until after he was born.

I hate that it sounds like it's going to take forever to go away. The actual 'line' doesn't bother me but mine is so dark and huge around my bellybutton for some reason.
