No matter how many times....

I have been having this arguement with my mother in law, for six months. It's about Pablum in a bottle. No matter how many times I say no, she does it anyway behind my back. Well last night we got in to an arguement and all I could say was, "I don't want her fed like that." And well, that didn't cut it, me being Jaymee's mother wasn't good enough. Plenty of times I told her if she did it, I would not bring Jay over here, last night I went to a movie with my husband. Mainly because it was our one year wedding anniversary, and I walked in and to my suprize, Jay was eating her pablum from a bottle. So again we faught. I just don't know what to do, my husband said we can't hold her from seeing Jaymee, and if we don't let her babysit once in a blue moon, then me and her will hit heads again! I am just not sure what to do... Lol. I need help! Sorry for whinning!

And another arguement was, it doesn't fill her up, but she has to work more for the pablum inside the bottle.

Why can't you stop her from seeing the baby? You're the baby's parents. If she's not willing to respect your rules, then your partner needs to have a heart to heart with his mother. If he's not willing to back you up on this, then maybe it's time to re-evaluate the relationship and seek counseling... what else is he going to take her side on as time goes on?

Do you feed her Pablum at other times? With a spoon for example? Is it the foodstuff or the method you don't want and either way, why?

I would examine how important it is to you that she doesn't have pablum in a bottle. if it's really important then you don't leave her alone with her grandmother any more and if it isn't you relax stop making empty threats about it. In fact either way stop making empty threats, it makes people take you less seriously.
