: She finally arrived. 41 weeks. C-section (which was a huge disappointment, but alas).I had three membrane sweeps, and still no labor. During my section, my OB discovered that I had huge adhesions attaching my bladder to my old section scar.
There is a good chance I might have needed bladder surgery if I had gone into labor I could have had some real damage occur to my bladder. Who knows, but I do notice a lot less pain with my bladder now.Anyway, the most important thing, is that my daughter is here and healthy and so incredibly sweet. Nurses wonderfully and I had a really good group of nurses at the doctor. My OB was super sympathetic and was really gunning for me to have a VBAC. The nurses were very supportive of me. No one offered Isla a paci or formula or anything. I do mourn the loss of a regular delivery. But I have two sweet babies and that is most important to me. I'll be okay with how they were born.
