So I'm being brave and want to convert a non-maternity dress pattern to a accomodate a belly.
It's this pattern which looks like it would adapt well to maternity wear. Can someone please let me know the hem difference is from front to back for maternity wear? Like is the front 4" longer or what?
I'm thinking once I know that difference, I can add that drop to the bottom hem of the front in the center, and then make a smooth curve from the side seam over to the new center bottom. Right?
