stop and start bleeding

So bleeding went to brown then spotting and then stopped around 2 or so weeks. Same as it did with first kiddo.

After dtd had some spotting... (dtd at 2 1/2 weeks then again at 31/2 weeks) that spotting stopped

Now at week 4 or now it's about 4 1/2 I have red spotting when i wipe and spotting on a pad. Spotting now is more than what i had from dtd. Much more on the TP when i wipe.

At first I was thinking maybe I was getting my period since I remember i got it back super quick with dd (yes even with breastfeeding). But it hasn't been more than just spotting. Still bright red though.

hmmm

what do you think?

I stopped and started several times, with bright red bleeding for nearly 4 weeks and then had some heavy brown (more than spotting) on and off for maybe a couple more weeks. I was really surprised by the amount and duration of bleeding and how it would stop for a while (several to many days) and then come right back. I didnt rest enough, though. But something as simple as carrying the baby in the sling shopping, or carrying the baby in the car seat would start it off. Cutting the grass at nearly seven weeks pp set off a bright red flow for several hours.

interesting - i have't paid attention to what i do before that might have set it off.

maybe i should stop trying to compare my dd's birth (only 6#13oz) recovery with this one;s (a 9pounder).

Speaking of big baby recovery...how are people's hips after recovery. I still can feel mind pop when i move positions in bed at times. At least they are super sore like they were at the end of pregnancy and right after i had him.

I bled for 7-8 weeks with ODS (and almost continuously for 7 weeks). This time I only bled for 3 weeks and then had another 3 weeks of on and off bleeding. Finally at 7 weeks I ffeel comfortable going without a pantyliner.

I cannot believe you have DTD multiple times already. I have only DTD 1 time since my BFP in August and I cannot bring myself to try it yet.

Similar story here. Mine had stopped totally around 3 weeks. Last week (4 weeks roughly) it started up again. I just moved from my parents' house to my ILs' and have been moving around more. (long story short: my parents basically took care of the baby while I was there. I was just the food source. Here I do all of the care) So, I'm not surprised that it started back. It came back as brown and thick (like at the end of AF sometimes) but quickly changed back to bright red. I also had light cramping for a day or so. I figured I was doing too much and have tried to rest more often. It's tapering off. It's more annoying than anything.
