Best green power for smoothies??

Thread Starter
I am looking for a good quality, preferably organic green powder to add to smoothies. I would also like it to have spirulina in it as well as all the other great greens. What do you all recommend? Thanks!!

I love the New Chapter Organics Berry Green. It's kinda pricey though.

I swear by Alissa Cohen's 100% Organic / Wildcrafted Green Food Powder. I started using it when I was raw for a time... and I keep this on hand for all of my smoothies - I LOVE it and think that what goes into it is optimal (personal opinion, of course).

Here is the ingredient listing:

Ingredients:
Land Vegetables: Whole Leaf Barley Grass, Whole Leaf Wheat Grass Juice, Barley Grass Juice, Nettle Leaf, Shavegrass (Horsetail), Alfalfa Leaf Juice, Dandelion Leaf Juice, Barley Grass Juice, Oat Grass Juice, Burdock Root, Broccoli Juice, Kale Juice, Spinach Juice, Parsley Juice, Carob Pod, Ginger Root, Nopal Cactus, Amla Berry

Algaes: Spirulina, Broken Cell Wall, Chlorella

Wildcrafted Aquatic Vegetables: Icelandic Kelp, Nova Scotia Dulse

Enzymes: (Optimum absorption, cleansing +) – Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Cellulase, Bromelain, Papain, Alpha Galactosidase

Comprehensive Probiotic Mixture: A.Agilis, L.Acidophilus, R.Arrhizus, DDS-I Acidophilus, Bifidus, L.Bulgaricus, A.Brasilienese, B.Brenis, P.Chrysosporium, A.Citreus, L.Casei, P.Calcis, S.Cellulase, P.Denitrificans, S.Faecium, S.Fradiae, P.Flourescens, A.Globiformis, S.Griseoflavus, P.Gelatic, B.Lipolyticum, A.Luteus, A.Lipoferum, A.Lwolfii, B.Laterosporous, P.Marinoglutinosa, B.Macerans, P.Nigraclens, P.Putida, L.Plantarum, B.Pumilus, B.Polymyxa, B.Stationis, L.Salivarius, B.Subtilus, B.Succinogenes, A.Simplex, B.Subtilus, S.Thermopolis, A.Terreus, M.Verrucaria, T.Viride, K.Zopfit

Sidebar: tell me about his echinacea or why you think it's awesome? And do you use the children's one too? (I know, slightly off topic!)

I've been using his products for around 6 or more years and so have numerous friends and family. My SIL told me about him and she still uses his products too. I started out doing his detox stuff and was very impressed. What I loved about him was that its all about the pure products-he's no nonsense. In the past he would send free cds /videos of him in his pharmacy, doing seminars etc. It was so informative. He sent free books too about health. Also, he always sent some new products to try and every single thing worked great. Its powerful stuff in the way its pure-when you taste the echinacea w the garlic and whatever else is in it you will see. I've tried numerous herbal blends of products(echinacea etc) and nothing is like this stuff. I do not have the childrens blend but you just reminded me to get it! I totally forgot that this would be great for my little guy. His stuff is not cheap but you pay for what you get w his products. I've had the superfood and echinacea for years. So the bottom line about why I like his products-they are potent and they work. Try it and let me know what you think.
p.s I don't think he does the free stuff anymore-sad
