Diaper cream and cloth diapers?

Thread Starter
Currently, ds has a pretty bad rash that I'm working on. I'd like to keep some cream on it, but I'm itching to get him in cloth soon (he's 3 weeks).

We are using fuzzi bunz though. Any kind of cream is a no go with those, right? So, am I going to have to stick with disposables until I can figure this out?

Thanks!

You can safely use a few ointments/creams - one is Angel Baby Bottom Balm, amongst others. The names are escaping me at the moment.

We like that Angel BAby (esp. for light redness or iritation) but find there are others that are more effective when baby has a bad rash. Weleda works really well for us but is not cloth diaper friendly, so we always put either a flushable or fleece liner down to protect the diaper. If it's fleece, we wash separately when possible to keep the residues away. If poopied, well...we toss it in with the dipes anyhow...that's our solution. We do have to do this periodically because our ds has food allergies and occasionally gets nasty rashes.
