I'm going to start my very own faith: The Church of the Perpetually Spiritually...

I am cracking up right now because of several threads on the front page of this forum that all have something to do with trying to find your spiritual place in the world, or how to incorporate more spirituality in your everyday life, etc.

I mean come on, all in one day I am reading these? They are popping up in such a timely way for me.

If your first religion was Christianity and you eventually "quit" but later heard it calling...

"Being yoked to an unbeliever"

Spiritual Disciplines -or- Participating in the Sacred of Everyday Life

I am not making fun of anyone because I have been hitting this forum a lot in the last couple days pondering the very same questions. But it seems like there are many of us that are feeling the same way lately. And thank you to the people that have been putting these questions out there because it makes me feel like I am not alone plus it is great informative discussion.

Maybe our collective unconscious is trying to tell us something? Could there be some sort of shift going on that we can feel but we don't know what to do with it?

Spooky.

Anyway, who wants to join my church?

Maybe it's the Mercury retrograde, making us re-evaluate. Dh told me this morning if I wanted to ever start my own church, he'd join!

I definitely feel a shift! Not just individually, but collectively. It's not so spooky to me. A shift in consciousness has been talked about since the 90's. Spiritual evolution is dramatically increasing and it can be pretty intense at times.

Not sure if that is what you were getting at, but that is how I feel. Might not be very popular on this forum, I rarely hear anyone talk about this on here but that is why I feel many people are feeling this way.

There is definatly a shift going on, of that i have no doubt.

I have also noticed a shifting. Interesting!

I'm not sure if I am so much lost or confused but rather wanting more from myself with regards to the practicing of my faith.

I'll join!

I started out a Methodist, became a Catholic, then turned Pagan/Wiccan. Now I'm being drawn to incorporating some of my Christian past into my Pagan present. The whole Christo-Pagan thing really appeals to me!

To be honest, I've wanted to start something for the past several years. I feel there should be something positive that focuses on ourselves, our actions, knowing the Universe will provide if you let it etc. and learn to trust in all of it as a whole. I haven't yet because no doors have opened with the right flow for me to say, "THIS is it!"

Happy Happy Church!

I definitely think there's something afoot. For those who come at it from a Christian perspective, I really think Phyllis Tickle is on to something.

Hehe, I started one of those threads.
I just wanted to say that I agree that there is a shift going on... aided by the internet and motivated in part by the massive threats to life on earth that the consciousness level/way of life/philosophy of the past few hundred years has created.
And I love your signature
