Doctor - vaxes all sick kids for hep a

I have an RN friend who is very pro vax. But I have been talking to her about vaccines. She took her boy - 5 - to the doctor and he tested positive for strep. The doctor then walked out of the room saying he had to have the hep a shot as he didn't have it. The nurse came in to give it to her, barely handed her the paper even. Thank God she is a nurse and knew you weren't really supposed to vax sick kids. The nurse said it was okay, this doc vaccinated all kids that came in for hep a - even for sick appointments. But my friend insisted that the paper said no for sick kids and left. But think how many parents don't know and don't get the paper or time to read it. This doctor is really putting these kids at risk.
