The only kind I've found is Dr. Fuhrman's Pixie Vites and my kids can't stand them.

are you trying to avoid it because you are supplementing with clo? we use Nature's Plus Animal Parade chewables. they have vitamin A in them but it's all from beta carotene. from my understanding on the different forms of vitamin A this seems safe while supplementing with clo.

I follow Dr. Joel Fuhrman's advice (Disease Proof Your Child, Eat to Live)

"Dr. Fuhrman does not recommend taking supplements that contain vitamin A or isolated beta-carotene because there are risks associated with consumption of these nutrients above what we receive in our diet. Ingesting vitamin A or beta-carotene in isolation from supplements, instead of food may interfere with the absorption of other crucially important carotenoids, such as lutein and lycopene, thus potentially increasing cancer risk."

Interesting. I had read that beta carotene from supplements was unhealthy, but I wonder about the "whole food" supplements?

huh. but couldn't the same thing be said about most isolated vitamins/minerals? bleh. another thing to add to my list of worries. i guess one of those super greens/berries whole food supplements instead....
