san diego hotel w/ separate tv area & fridge

Hi Mamas! I'm hoping to find a hotel in the San Diego area that might accomodate my both my DH's late-night tv habit and our two toddlers' early bedtime. A room with a bed (or area for a roll-away/pull-out) and a tv that can swivel completely away from that area would be great. And if it has a fridge (or mini-fridge) and an airport/zoo/beach shuttle, we'd be in 1st-family-vacation-heaven!!
So far, we've found the Residence Inn in La Jolla, but that might be a distance from the wedding we're traveling to attend. The Days Inn in Hotel Circle would be good except for the tv thing. Park Manor Suites seems to fit the bill for space and location, though it's a bit pricey for our budget.

Any ideas? (Travel tips most welcome as well!!)

Hi...
we recently had to stay in a hotel for a few weeks when work was getting done on our house. They put us up in the Residence in Mission Valley. It was GREAT. Bedroom, living space with pull out bed, mini kitchen with stove, fridge, pots, pans, sink, microwave, etc... little table for eating, desk with computer access. Swimming pool for kiddos (even a kiddie pool), free breakfast (full on brecky), free dinners Mon-Fri...
It's very close to zoo, sea world, beaches, etc. Check it out.

I have stayed in Mariott's TownPlace Suites (awesome - have a full kitchen in the family room area, and the bedrooms have doors) and Mariott's SpringHill Suites (have a fridge/microwave in the TV sitting area, beds are on the other side of a pony wall) We've done both with baby/toddler and worked out well. I don't know about San Diego locations, but it's worth checking on!

This won't be much help, I guess, but we just stayed at the Days Inn last weekend and it was great. No separate tv area but it had a fridge and microwave. It was also in a great location, central to downtown, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, the beach. Had a free airport and zoo shuttle (and I'm sure Sea World, but we didn't go there). The hotel was clean and has a nice pool. Also, it was a good price. I don't know how much it was because my mom paid for our room, but it must have been affordable if she booked us there! I'd recommend it for sure.

Embassy Suites sounds like what you are looking for. I've stayed at them before in different cities, but I'm sure they have one in the San Diego area. The breakfast is nice to have in the hotel when you travel with kids.
