Anyone else a fan of books by Alice Miller?

She is an Austrian psychoanalyst who basically talks about how the so called upbringing has hurt so many of us, making us lose the child within (our true selves).

I remember coming across one of her books years ago and felt it was way too radical.... But now, she just seems right on.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has read her books and has any thoughts. She has inspired me to try to control our dd as little as ever possible. It is SO important to get to feel like you are loved and valuable just the way you are...

I'm a huge fan of hers. She was a guiding voice in some of my own recovery and although I haven't actually reread much since having my son, I do think she has really influenced me as a person and how I perceive childhoo.

Sounds intriguing. I just put "the body never lies" on hold at my local library.
