Goat's Milk?

I'm not sure where to post this....

But my daughter (8 months old but was a 30 weeker preemie) does not like to drink anything from a bottle. She was breast fed for the first four months (pumped milk actually, she never latched) and has been on preemie forumla since then.

She is only 14.5 lbs and refuses to drink more than 2oz of ANYTHING (even juice, water, etc) at a time.

I have tried all different forumlas, bottles, EVERYTHING I can think of and today her doctor told me to try goat's milk. I was fine with this until I started googleing, and now I'm scared.

Has anyone ever given goat's milk to a child under 12 months??

Can you maybe share what exactly you are afraid of?
I have known numerous babies who's lives were actually spared because of raw goats milk.
My entire family was raised on it, starting at a very early age as a supplement.

Thanks! I'll edit my post. I'm way too tired to be posting anything tonight!
