last night i was super sleepy while pumping around midnight. i sat down in the floor and put my head against the rocker. i woke up when the pump turned off- with the flange/breast shields still suctioned to my breasts.

What a good Mama for pumping for your baby Seriously, as big of a breastfeeding advocate that I am, I loathe pumping (and blessedly it has never been a necessity) and I am not sure how I would keep that up. So kudos to you, Lilah has one dedicated Mom

I have done that. Although, there was nothing worse then them falling off and pouring out and losing all the milk. I have seriously cried like a baby over spilled milk.

Pumping is funny under the most normal circumstance falling asleep while pumping is hilarious

Oh, yeah, BTDT...I often fell asleep during my middle of the night pumpings. I starting using my hands free bustier so I wouldn't drop the bottles; that would have made me cry! I don't know how many times I thought about trying to pump lying down when my alarm would go off at 2 am.

No, kidding! I always thank God I've never had to pump because of a premie or a job or anything, because I don't think I would have the dedication.

That being said, that is really funny to fall asleep like that! You had some good suction going on there!
