Natural facial cleanser and mousturizer for sensitive skin?

I'm trying to move towards buying everything small business, ethically made, local and natural. I found a great place for my shampoo and body bars. Now for my face.

I have finicky skin that will break out and go nutty without supervision. I've tried leaving it be and just rinsing with water, but after a couple of weeks of that I had inflamed skin and icky oily yuck. I think it's something in the water here... I use Cetaphil face bar and mousturizer. Anyone know of a small business that makes a similar product? I'd really like to get away from supporting big business and chain stores so even if the product isn't "natural" if I can get it from a family business that'd be great.

Thank you all for your input!

There's a thread called "wash your face with honey" floating around here somewhere. Go there, read that. :

Also check out Oil Cleansing Method (OCM)... I read about it here and have been trying it for 3 days now and my skin is getting better already. We have been lied to for so long about oil being bad for our skin, but my skin is so pampered now I can't see how I lived for so long with acne problems. I hope after some time this will help heal the scars as well. FYI, my mix is 1 part mineral oil and 2 parts extra virgin olive oil with a drop or two lavender eo. Works great!! I got 3 pores unplugged within 1 minute and more are being cleared up every time I cleanse.

i will second the honey. i have been washing with raw honey for about 3 years. it is amazing. before that, i had oily in the summer, dry in the winter. lather on the face lotion during the winter a few times a day, in the summer a big dose in the am. after the honey, i don't really need to moisturize in the summer at all, in the winter i use a lightweight aubrey organics lotion.

it might sting the first few days, and don't get it in your eyes. i sing the alphabet song while i rub it all over. you can put a little baking soda in there once in awhile if you need to exfoliate. so many people love it. however, the OCM mentioned above is also worth trying if you find the honey isn't what you want. give honey a week at least.

the best part is, it is locally produced and unprocessed!

I alternate between honey and the OCM. Both are awesome.

Also, if you want to buy good products from a small business, I recommend Garden of Wisdom!
