Do any of you mamas know if it is safe to use these products for people really? I have super chapped hands from cleaning and washing etc and it works wonders on them, they feel sooo much better after about 10 minutes of putting it on. They are red and cracked and i cant not use my hands to give them a break. I know the label says for veterinary use only but it is actually hazardous?? Of couse I would never put it on my nipples like I have read some people do , Thats just crazy!! But hands or feet???
Tanja Mama to Raven 11, Jakob 4, Benjamin 2, and due in 3 weeks!!!:LOL

I've never used it, but I've seen it for sale at walmart. I've talked to a couple of people who use it. I use Mary Kay Satin Hands when my hands get bad. The extra emollient night cream (part of Satin Hands) is great for dry skin (heels, elbows, etc.)

I have never tried it but last year dd got really chapped skin and I put plain shea butter on it and it worked great.

You couldn't use shea butter on your nipples with a baby as that would involve nut allergy concerns but it is so nice on your skin.

I use Bag Balm on my hands & feet when they become so dry I could sand down boards by walking on them! Anywho, it really works! I haven't had any adverse side effects, just good things really.
