Seasonal or yearround availability of fishy pools

This sounds like kind of a ridiculous question, but are fishy pools seasonal items, or can you buy them year-round? I ask because I am due in late autumn, and I don't want to be left high and dry (literally) because they are only for sale from May through August and I wait 'too long' to purchase one...

Maybe you should pick one up now. I think you're right. They are mostly gone by August when they roll out the back-to-school stuff.

You can buy them online at several places. www.inhishands.com

Amazon.com has them all year. Watch for great deals at the end of the summer in stores though.

I just now bought mine online because they didn't have them at target or wal-mart.
I live in N. Ca though, and there aren't really seasons here.

You can usually buy them online year round, but they are cheaper (usually) if you can find them in store in season. Watch for a sale and go for it!

My MW recommended buying it now (summer) as opposed to waiting and ordering online so as to avoid paying S&H.

I ordered one last time to have it before hand as I didn't know if they would be available for the birth (Mid April)but for crazy reasons I didn't have it- ended up going out and did actually find one for sale and it was cheaper, I am birthing in November this year so I will be buying one this summer.

Buy it now. DS2 was born in June and when I went to order the pool it was sold out almost everywhere. I found one place online that had it in stock. Shipping on the pool is like $12 so buy it locally if you can.

Once you figure out what pool you want, BUY IT!! We had a horrible time finding a pool for our last birth...early Feb. It really was so stressful because every pool I wanted was sold out.

Thanks for the spur to action! I will go fishy-pool shopping sooner rather than later!

I actually hit Target in August and got 3 fishy pools to keep around for only $5 each. BUT knowing you need it, I'd buy it now so you don't have to pay Amazon's price and shipping.
