Unvaxed, preschool, big cities -- any concerns?

I'm curious if people who live in big cities (we're in NYC) have any concerns sending their unvaxed kids to preschool. I don't know if big cities tend to have more VPDs lurking about than any other place. I've also read on MDC that some parents postpone sending their kids to school until age 5, or kindergarten, since age 5 is when the immune system is fully formed. Thoughts?

BTW, we currently go to music class once or twice a month with no problem, except the occasional cold. We are still breast feeding.

It's not the germ but the terrain...

I have 3 vax-free grandchildren that travel and go to all sort of places. Never a worry in our family.

We're not really in a big city, but dd's daycare is administrated by a large state university.

She's 3.5 and unvax'ed. Prior to pre-school, she was in a daycare administrated by the same university (since about 10 months old).

We gots lots of colds and coughs and runny noses, but nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that really worries me

I have kind of the opposite logic, I guess. I figure by exposing her to all the germies now, she will build a stronger immune system as a result. I remember a study once that actually found that kids who go to daycare/pre-school have a lower liklihood of developing leukemia (?) and the theory is precisely in the early germ exposure. I don't recall the details and it wasn't at all a factor in my decision to do daycare/pre-school--I just thought the germ exposure issue was interesting.

I think lots of people have concerns about this, but you probably won't find them in the delayed/selective/no vax forums here

We live in a big city and our no vax DD attends preschool a few days a week, no worries here.

Not sure what you mean by this...

We live and work in Washington DC and have an unvaxed almost-2yo in full-time daycare in the city. She breastfed until 18 months (wish we had gone longer) and we focus on eating very healthfully and that sort of thing, but otherwise haven't changed our life because of it.
