flouride in tap water and watering dogs...

I've been thinking about this for a bit now. We have town water which is tap water with flouride in it. I'm not a fan of flouride to begin with. I did some research and it seems flouride is toxic to dogs. Obviously not immediatly so in small tap water amounts BUT... would you switch your dogs to bottled water? Am I taking years off their lives or making them less hearty by filling their water bowls from the tap? My cheap husband thinks their fine... I am uneasy about it...

I don't have flouridated water, but everyone here drinks bottled water- and my dog is human sized.

I think I've made the decision to change to bottled water for them too. The turtle only uses bottled or from our local spring in his tank and the rabbit only ever had bottled water. AND the dogs actually show a preference for it!
