This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Officially it's a no-no because kombucha can cause a detox reaction. However, like many things in life it's a personal issue you can only decide for yourself. I do know people who out of desperation have used very small amounts (starting with a tablespoon) to combat severe nausea. If you choose to do it, start with a very small amount and work your way up but I'd personally need to have a very good reason to start during pregnancy. FWIW, supposedly as little as a tablespoon can have many of the benefits and that amount isn't likely to cause issues (again--totally personal preference though--the FDA doesn't evaluate the safety of kombucha).
