WAP/NT style infant feeding book?

I'm looking for something along the lines of the Super Babyfood Book only with a more TF point of view. I know I read somewhere (on the WAP site, I think) that babies shouldn't have grains until a year. Which of course blows modern infant feeding advice out of the water, since that's often what they have you start with. While I don't really agree with egg yolks at 4 months, it will be DS2's first food when he's ready for food. I guess I'm just looking for a good guideline of when to start what foods and all. We're going to attempt mostly self-feeding with DS2 with very little pureed food. Any advice would be great.

My opinion is that you should feed your little one whatever you are eating, within reason. That is what I did. I did keep bananas, sweet potatoes and avocados on hand for smashing up and feeding at times when I was eating something I didn't want my son to eat or that he couldn't. I don't really agree with self feeding. I had a couple of really scary incidents with my son where I almost had to call 911. So I always broke up whatever I was eating in small pieces for him. Even recently at the age of 2 and a 1/2 I will cut up stuff because he inhaled a blueberry which thankfully he was able to dislodge. Anyway, my main point was going to be to feed whatever you eat, because if you feed them special foods then they will always expect that. I have seen that other mom's made special foods for their kids and then they won't eat with the family as they get older. Feeding my son whatever we were eating just made life a whole lot easier and he eats pretty much everything I do now, happily. He will even eat sardines and cabbage. I can't stay I know many toddlers who will do that. :
