Affordable Guinea Pig Snack :)

My guinea pigs LOVE dandelions. My daughter thoroughly enjoys picking them on our nature walks (in areas we know do not put down fertilizers) and feeding them to our boys. (Our girl doesn't like them for some reason).

Free and healthy snack And they look so darn cute after they've chewed the stem and they just have the flower sticking out of their mouths.

Our guinea pig keeps us from having to empty our compost bin very often. She loves watermelon rind, strawberry tops, small pieces of apple, pear or peach after the kids have eaten it.

She also loves dandelions. Clover is a hit with her too. There isn't much she won't eat!

oh yes, our piggies love dandilions!!! not too keen on parsley. we give ours a our fruit scraps as well. they love them. but most of the time they just enjoy nibbling in the yard.
