Holding babe while I write this, so will be short. I labored at home until after 7am on Tuesday, then went to the hospital. We had planned to UC, but I began having some bright red bleeding which I wasn't comfortable with. We arrived at the hospital at around 7:40 and Maya was born with no interventions at 8:22am! She was born 8 hours after her due date of 5-25. Pretty prompt little girly 
She was normal presentation, but her shoulders got stuck (shoulder discotia) and man, was that painful!
She came out in three rounds of pushing. My water broke the second time I pushed, so she was almost born in the caul!
I was very loud (also, I said the f-word a few times - geeze), which surprised me, as I wasn't that way with DS who is seven now. I did have some Demerol with him, though!
All in all, I'm very proud of myself. Things were so intense there for a while that I was pretty scared, but I knew I had to keep going, so I did
I bled about 2X more than 'normal' but I feel fine now!
Her Daddy caught her and clamped and cut her cord He said it was a pretty intense experience.
We're all home and feeling great - Maya is a great nurser and pretty happy so far. Lucky me! DP has two weeks off so we're in our babymoon. Talk to you ladies soon and good luck to all the Moms who haven't delivered yet!
