Quick! Tofu question for supper tonight! (is it still good?)

I have a package of tofu (a huge sealed slab I bought at the co-op) that I opened and used part of about 10 days ago. I submerged it in water and sealed it in a dish. I kept meaning to get to it, but didn't until today and wanted to make it for supper, but now I'm not sure if it's still good! It smelled a little "off" when I opened the container, I didn't change the water at all before today, but I rinsed it well just nowand it *seems* ok.

Can we still use it? Will it make you actually sick if it's too old, or will it just taste funny??

i think you cared for it properly once opened. i find that if it is bad, it smells bad! if it smelled just a little off, i would still use it. but i always cook tofu, and cooking things makes me think they are less gross!
