Yes, you've read that right.
My 2 year old intentionally pees on the floor when she's mad. (yes she is young. Yes, she has 'accidents.' Trust me if you knew her, you also would know the difference.)
Here is an example: the other night she was mad at me for taking baby brother to bed and not allowing her in my bedroom. She peed right outside my bedroom door. (The baby won't go to bed if the bigger ones are around, they can't resist doing stuff that keeps littlest awake, and they also just can't resist getting into stuff in my room. So it's an off-limits zone, mostly for my sanity. I'd accept 3 AM falling back to sleep in my room, but that's not ever been an issue.)
Will this behavior go away if I make sure that I never react in a negative way to *any* accidents?? (If it doesn't appear to make me mad, then she'll quit using it for 'revenge??') I know that's a bad way to put it, it's not what she's thinking, I know. IT's not like she plans this out and plots. I know that. But she's definently using it to express her anger.
