February DDC is still up so we have a little more time!

Baby is one month old today. She is doing amazing so I cant complain but Im feeling really blue today. They are upping her feeds again and shes on full feeds. 36 ounces a day now. Im pumping 12 to 15. sigh. This is the same SAME exact thing that happened with dd1. We gave her formula and she turned out fine so I guess its not the worst thing in the world. Also, I got offered a donation of a ton of BM by an amazing woman, so she will still have some BM, even if its not mine.
The worst part about having low supply is that I cant take herbs or drugs to bring it up because of her heart and kidney problems and that is what everyone suggests! Im also feeling down because in a month, Ive held her 5 times (because of the ventilator and feeds) She is JUST starting to make a squeak when she cries. Im sure thats a main reason my supply is so low. You cant get a good sense of her "smell" because of the hospital smells, I was JUST told that its ok to do skin to skin now which means I can get naked at her bedside (with a curtain) but she has so many wires, it takes time and a nurse or 2 to get her comfy in my arms.

BUT the babys kidney levels are going down FAST now., The docs are pleased and shocked. Maybe surgery soon!

Ill read a few more chapters of that book and let you know if its a good buy. The first 2 chapters are pretty good to me!

Back to the hospital to meet my parents for lunch. The cafeteria is huge and has really good food!!

um, thats annoying. However, seriously even a couple of my FRIENDS have mentioned that my breast is larger than baby's head. (not just DH, who, by the way, is already used to my big bazoombas, though they are certainly bigger than usual)

speaking of which, yeah, those of you who are not used to having giant boobs are going to be in for a surprise when you try exercising! Yikes, you need a serious sports bra.

I am working on DH to get excited for the couch to 5K idea. I have a little over a week here before I am 6w PP, but I am ready to step it up if I can figure out how.

I am DEFINITELY interested in doing the couch to 5K program! I know DH will do it with me too as we were just talking about getting back in shape together. He teases that he gained baby weight too. I very quickly lost 25-30 of the 35-40 pounds I gained but my weightloss has definitely halted. I really would like to be 10 pounds less than my pre pregnancy weight so I have 20 pounds to lose *sigh*. I am officially allowed to exercise now and I know its going to take some time to get back in shape as walking gets me tired (or maybe its the lack of sleep?). I was at the gym almost right up until I delivered so I hope that helps! My body is definitely all around jiggly though and I have this mound of extra skin/fat that hangs over my incision (had a section) and getting dressed is very discouraging .

On DTD I'm officially allowed to do that now and DH has been patiently (or maybe not so patiently) waiting but I'm sort of scared. I had a C Section and I guess I'm afraid an orgasm will hurt? I'm not sure. I need to just do it already and move on! I had a bit of a sex drive when Cooper was first born but now I think the fear of the unknown has taken over.

Lindsay - so good to hear about Sophia's levels!

Has anyone found/used sunscreen before 6 months old like it says on the water babies bottle?
