June Providence Area book group - Page 2

The 28th works for me.
Was there a reason the 15, 16, 18, or 19 didn't work? Did I miss something?
because caitlin said the 17th was the only night that week that worked for her. i really think we should try to get caitlin on board for this one, esp since she'll be moving so soon

So the 28th??
I am not going to be able to finish the book by next week anyway since I just ordered it and don't know when I'll get it etc...

Thanks so much for reminding me.
And ita about making every effort to make sure Caitlin can be there (or should I say here?).

Hecticness

Oh, shucks, you guys. The last few days have been Beyond insane...I'm hoping we're getting it all out of the way now The 28th is Madeleine's birthday, and C and I will want to be together that night. I feel terrible that my schedule is so inflexible...and I'm not even having a baby or anything!! I'll definitely be coming to playgroup as much as possible...

So I peer pressured Caitlin via email as much as I can but... well, she's really busy... and it's "good" training for when she's MIA indefinitely. So let's pick a date. Is the 28th good? We could do the 29th or 30th if those are better?

Sooo, the 28th works fine for me.

Angela? Kristin?
I wonder if doing an afternoon would work for everyone. The only afternoons i could do would be weekends. Just in case I can't remember when Caitlin starts work.

We're coming home from VT on the 28th so I don't know if that day would work... maybe later afternoon and meeting somewhere not here because of kids awake.

Sorry I've been absent. Trying to get prepped to start teaching on Monday. I feel majorly unprepared!

I can do the 28th in the evening. In general, afternoons are rough for me, but if there's a particular day that works for everyone else, I can try to make it work.

Also, is there a copy of the book floating around somewhere that I could borrow? Looking forward to seeing everyone!

i have it out from the library. i will bring it to pride tomorrow, k?

You guys, I'm so sorry for the last minute rsvp, but I'm out for tonight. Not only have I not read the book (that alone was not actually going to deter me from coming), I haven't finished doing the prep for my class tomorrow.

I'm really sorry, and in general, I'm super psyched about our book club, and look forward to being a more regular and reliable participant. Have a great time tonight. I'll miss you all.

I'm planning on coming tonight even though I'm sooooo tired. Please make me leave at 10!!!
My friends are coming too. Since Angela isn't coming we'll bring brownies and I'll also get something n/a to drink.
I'll check back to make sure we're all set since we all haven't talked much all week.

Hi,

I just moved to Providence and am interested in finding a bookclub.  Are you still active?  Open to new members?

Thanks,

Christine
