I currently have a stash of half BG 3.0 one size and 1/2 FB one size and I really like them both. I need to get a few more diapers and I am having a hard time deciding between the BG with snaps or more FBs. I was just going to get the FBs because I think they will last longer, but now that BG has snaps I don't know what to do!

FBs are cheaper though...What would you do??

It is the organic ones-sorry! The aplix issue is why I am struggling!

I have both and absolutely adore my BG w/snaps! I like my OS FB too, but am exclusively buying the BG w/snaps right now. So trim, so absorbent, great fit, and the snaps are great quality. I think I'll get a lot of life out of them!

I would say Fuzzi Bunz but I've never tried BG with the snaps... I'm curious now how those work compared to FB!

Fuzzy Bunz

I said Fuzzy Bunz because the FB factory seconds are half the price of the BG with snaps... $25 is a lot of money to pay for a diaper, no matter how much you like it. i have one BG, and I just can't bring myself to buy more because of the cost.

I said other - mainly because you are use to pockets and you seem to like them. I do love using the BG Organic with snaps. The Fuzzi Bunz do work well also.

But one that I have come to like a lot for the one size pockets is the Tiny Tush Elite. It works great and is available in snaps or velcro. Also priced the same as the Fuzzi Bunz. I am more of a velcro person myself, so we use some of each. Haute also has one size diapers available in velcro or snap!

OK, two questions:

1. What is the argument for snaps over velcro? Is it a laundry thing? An older babies pulling the velcro open thing? Just curious.

2. Where do you buy the Fuzzy Bunz factory seconds?

I have one FB diaper that came in a sample pack, and I'd like to get more!

Velcro wears out. I liked velcro and aplix fine for my first six to twelve months of cloth diapering. After five years of cloth diapering, I try to stick to snaps.

The FB factory seconds are sold here :

Right now, you can get 10 original style for $96, or individually for $12 each. The new design are $115 for 10, or $14 each.

We can't actually find the flaws on some of the FB seconds that we have. I've heard similar reports from other moms on MDC.

Ah, thanks. I hadn't thought about it wearing out (my little guy is only 2 months old). And thanks for the info on the FB factory seconds.

I voted other b/c they are completely different diapers. The cotton inner is very different than a fleece or suedecloth inner.

My FB lasted at least twice as long as my BG.

I voted BGs because I like AIO's better than pockets. If it was between the two brands of pockets I would have voted FB.
