I got my fantastic home birth! YAY!
Water broke Thursday morning at 4:30, contractions started right up and he was out less than six hours later, born in the jacuzzi tub at home. My midwife and her apprentice rocked it, but most of all my husband is yet AGAIN the BEST labor support person in the whole world. I knew it from last time but dang... he rocks.
8lbs on the dot, 19.5" long. Healthy and happy and a totally booby baby. My 3 year old was phenomenal the entire time, getting in bed all together last night was one of the best moments of my life. I'm feeling so very fortunate today!
Postpardum between this birth and my son's hospital birth are polar opposites. I feel great, I had no tearing (compared to 2nd degree last time) and I'm soooo glad to be at home. I birthed him on my hands and knees which I highly recommend!
