I'm looking for a place to rent in Key West for a week - suggestions?

Preferably walking distance to Duval, ideally on the north side but I won't be too picky.

Just looking for a getaway - will be there for a week in August.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

I live in KW and would second a B&B as opposed to a small hotel in the Duval Street area. Keep in mind that it's really small down here so you can pretty much walk anywhere that's south of White Street. I would avoid Whitehead Street or anything south of it (I can explain this better privately). There are lots of B&Bs on Simonton that would be pretty convenient for you. If you change your mind and decide to stay in a hotel on the northside I could give you recs for that as well. Do you have kids?
