No one I know has ever had an issue - we certainly never have. As an R4 school, we keep attendance, and technically the student must attend the same number of days per year as is required in public school.

I've never heard of either of those things being a problem for a HS family using the PSA option. You might want to join the email list for either HSC www.hsc.org or CHN www.californiahomeschool.net and ask the same question, they're both large, active lists with a lot of experienced CA HSers.
