On the topic of the difference btw, a center and homebirth, I find it funny that people who don't blink an eye that my last baby was born in a freestanding birth center, at least 15 minutes further away from the transfer hospital then where I lived get all up in arms that HB isn't safe and I shouldn't do it.
It really is exactly the same as far as equipment, etc.
