DS1 just turned 3 and as I was getting him ready for bed I was talking to him and asked "Do you want mommy to have another baby like Bubba?" and said "Yeah!" really excited. Then I asked him if he wanted a baby brother or a baby sister and he very emphatically said "Baby Sister." So then I tell him it's time to go to bed and he told me "No Mommy I have to wait." I asked him "Why do you have to wait?" and He goes" Mommy I have to wait for my baby sister!"

LOL it was just so cute I felt bad having to tell him it would be awhile yet.

Aww! That is cute. It must be confusing that it takes so long for the baby to arrive. That has to seem like forever to a toddler.

I started to bring up the idea of another baby to my 4.5 year old DS and the first thing he said is that we will need more room in our house. LOL!

My first is only 19 months so for us, we just talk about having a baby and he gets this silly grin on his face and says "baayyybeee"

Kids are so sweet!

My DS is 4 and he's demanding a brother. I've tried explaining that we don't get to pick, that God gives us a baby and we just have to be happy with what He gives us. He says thats fine, but he thinks a brother would be AWESOME. But he did finally say that he would be okay with another sister. He wanted to know when, I told him not until his birthday (baby due right around his birthday) so he says his birthday is a long way away, it's not coming!
