Hello all,
I am putting my 14 month old girl in mother's day out in the fall (one day per week). And the people in charge say that my vaccine exemption form is not enough for them...they say that I have to find a doc that will write them a note saying it's ok for me not to vax my kid. I have been to Dr. Stowe in conroe, and I know that she would not have a problem writing a note. BUT we have recently had a change in insurance, and so far, I can't find her on the insurance website.
Our current insurance is BlueCross BlueShield. We have a PPO plan. Do any of you know if Dr. Stowe is on that list? Or of any other "crunchy" doc on that list who is relatively close to my location? I live in Spring-Cypress area, but am willing to drive as far as the woodlands if I need to. I also don't mind driving into Houston city limits.
I'm kinda peaved that they say I need a Dr's note. I did not think that was legal. But I am willing to play along, because I really want a day to myself to get house work done. And this particular MDO is close to my home and it's the only program in my area that offers the one day per week option.
Thanks for any info you can give.
Francie
