I'm going about my day just wonderfuly then WHAM - I get punch to the cervix :. WOW that feels weird. I feel like he is already trying to break out! He still has 9 weeks to cook. He can't come out yet.

CONSTANTLY...just like his big brother did. Seems like when I get those punches in the cervix, I also get a nice swift kick to the diaphragm or ribs too.

I found that I could tell this baby was definetly kicking and moving at the beginning when I got the jabs in the cervix. I never knew how weird and awful that could feel! Thank goodness the little bug moved so I haven't had it in a while. But if at this size he decided to aim low again I can imagine how not amused I would be!!

Yes, all the time! It kind of freaks me out honestly. It really does feel like this baby is trying to punch his (or her) way out! Not yet baby!

I sometimes think that the baby just wants out with the hard kicks. Ouch! And the best time is when my bladder is full. :

Oh yeah, definitely getting kicks in the cervix! It's the weirdest feeling and it's hard to describe to someone who hasn't felt it (like my dh). It always gives me a little shock!!!

Me too - and it is the weirdest feeling ever. I can't even describe it, but I know exactly what it is when it happens. I fear because it is twins I am going to have to get used to this feeling until they are ready to push their way into the world.

Yup, all the time. On top of it, sometimes it feels like something is scratching it too. I jump whenever that happens, which is always amusing when I'm in business meetings. Ow!

I think I have felt this a few times now and I also hate getting kicked in the bladder too. It's like a split second sensation to pee and then gone. The baby has also been pushing and rolling around a lot and that really gives me the heebie jeebies!

yes it was kicks... and the other day it definately felt like pokes... and she was transvrse for the afternoon... but shes back to breech

Definitely! It's such a crazy feeling! There was a while a few weeks back when I got some respite, but now the baby's back to his or her obsession with my cervix.

It's comforting to hear that it's normal. I have intermittently worried that it means something horrible But I guess it's just one of those things.

Yes I do, but more often than not, it is more of a ticklish feeling, with my first pregnancy I asked my OB about this and he looked at me like I just grew an extra head .

About 4 weeks ago, it was happening all the time, but now just every once in awhile. Baby was hanging out head down at my MW appt last week, so maybe that has something to do with it.

The first time it happened I thought "what the heck was that strange feeling?!?". After thinking about it, I asked my SIL on IM Chat about it, and she said "Yeah, you might recognize the feeling...but probably only felt it from the other side before!" Not quite the same, but it did make me chuckle to think about.

Most definitely right there with you. Although DH thinks its absolutely hilarious when it happens. He says that his son will just be a tough little guy right from the start. LOL

This one has been kicking in the cervix for a while now. Ds did it too. They are so strong sometimes I think "this is it hes going to fall out!" lol I think they are really uncomfortable sometimes too.

wow, I am so glad someone else is experiencing this... I don't even try to describe it to DH... I don't want to know what his face would look like.

I tell DH imagine if someone punched you in the balls from the inside.

When did it first start happening for you guys?? I am 24wks about, and still have not felt anything that might be a 'cervix kick'. I am pretty sure he is head down..thats where i feel the largest/heaviest movements and its been that way for awhile now. i would think if they are head down like that - you wouldn't get as many cervical punches b/c their arms would be higher up.
