Another new addition (and this one will be sticking around!)

Although our recent dog adoption didn't end up working out (she found a great home that suited her much better 3 days later) our most recent adoption of a kitty is a sucess!

I heard of a special needs kitten in search of a home at a nearby vet clinic. She'd already been viewed and turned down by several potential adopters so how could I not scoop her up and take her home!? She is very healthy, happy, playful, and a typical kitten... except for one thing. She has the wobbles. Her mother contracted distemper near the end of her pregnancy so all of the litter sustained cerebral damage that permenatly effects their motor skills. She is able to jump, run, eat, get in and out of the cat box, play, and drink.... she just appears heavily intoxicated while doing all of the above.

Shes a joy and getting along great with all the pets and people in our house. Definatly a keeper.

MEET LEXI (dd named her)

DD IS OBSESSED WITH HOLDING HER BABY KITTEN

SHE BITES DS'S TOES AND HE GIGGLES LIKE MAD

VINEGAR IS HER FAVORITE SO FAR. SHE LOVES SNEAK ATTACKING HER

she just sort of mellos out when you hold her. Moving around is an extra effort for her so maybe being held is a nice break. She pretty much goes totally floppy and relaxed when you pick her up.
