Back carry in a Beco

Does anyone else have the frustrating issue with the waist/hip belt pushing your pants down? I know it sounds weird, but every time I back carry, my pants get all goofy, even when I wear a belt. : I feel like I need the waist strap to sit atop my hips more, but it is pulled so tight already. I am petite, but c'mon!

This is a really common complaint with soft structured carriers in general....I always tell people not to wear low-rider jeans for fear of a wardrobe malfunction.

Yeah, I have that problem too. I just try not to wear a thong!

We Too

I have this issue as well. My solution has been to wear either yoga pants with a high waist, or shirts that hand down long.

I have that problem too. I am always checking to make sure my shirt is pulled down and my pants are pulled up. I probably look really funny to other people. :

you're definitely not alone. most all SSC's do that, though oddly i find my Beco does it less so than some others i've tried.

there's a lovely picture from DD1's girl scouts of us building bird houses. i've got DD2 on my back in an angelpack ssc, and you can plainly see the top of my butt crack

Well, glad to see it is not just me. (Not glad that it happens though )

YES! I have this problem with my Beco, Ergo and AMC II. It's definitely a SSC thing.

I have this issue too. It helps a little if I remember to pull my pants up so the waistband is under the carrier. That way the carrier holds them against my body rather than pushing them down.

I have this problem, and all I wear are low-riders (they're more comfortable because they don't restrict my left-over baby fluff!) I hike them up really high (like give-yourself-a-weggie-high) and put the Beco waiststrap really low on my hips and really really *really* tight. That helps a lot, but if I bend over or sit down, all the work is undone and the circus begins again.
