Friday night was my first extended period away from my baby. I got called in from leave (just regular vacation, not maternity anymore) in order to pull an overnight duty (that's the Army for you 
--we're short-handed in the unit for people who are able to pull this particular duty at the moment). Luckily, I had a lot of milk pumped and frozen and two days notice. I fed her about 12:30 on Friday and she was very good for DH until I arrived home the next morning. I just pumped about 5 times that night.
Taking her with was *not* an option. She sleeps in our room, but not our bed and does STTN (well, 9-10 pm till 4-5 am).
