We have 2 older spayed female dogs. One is 9 (GSD/lab mix), and the other is of uncertain age, but probably between 7-9 (yellow lab). One of them has been having issues with diarrhea/soft stools. It's really intermittent- about every 10 days. It's an emergency, because my house trained dog is pooping in the house. :Puke Fortunately we've got a huge mud room so I've been gating the dogs in there when we're not with them. It's relatively easy to clean off of the tile floor.
Anyway, last time this happened I medicated both dogs, but I don't want to have to do that. I also don't want to have to separate them for a long time, and it could be a few weeks before this happens again. Any other ideas for figuring out who the culprit is?
