littegreymare- I just noticed you're on CD 48 now, I hope something happens soon for you.

BFN this morning using an EPT. I'm on CD31. I'm going to try to hold out until Saturday to test again if af doesn't show before then. Then maybe test every 3 days or so?

I can be moved to 2WW. I got my crosslines from FF and it says I'm 3dpo. I'm really hoping this is it. Our bd timing was perfect, I had eqcm and 2 very positive opk's. My only concerns are that this is my very first cycle postpartum, and that I've been under stress due to my mother passing away last week. Over all though, my body seems to be cooperating still, and despite all that's happened I seem to be a little less stressed than I would normally be since Im on a high about ttc this cycle.

We shall see......

She recently got pretty sick and decreased nursing by a few times a day. She nursed maybe 2-3 times total a day for 3-4 days.

A few days ago after DTD there was some spotting when I wiped and then a few times after that when I wiped later that night. This would be the first spotting or bleeding I had since PP bleeding ended.

So, ovulation???? What do you guys think?
I think it could be a number of things, but I had a very similar thing happen and went to my ob after it happened like 5 times , and she said I de-estrogenized and so things were just very thin and sensitive in there. The bding made me bleed a tiny bit because of that. Same thing though; very small spotting.

A TMI question

How long after BDing should CM be considered "semen obscured"? I ask because it looks like I have some clear EWCM about 18 hours after BD, but it seems too early in my cycle (CD9 today) and there are no other corresponding fertility signs to indicate O.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey mamas, can I join?
I'm so incredibly freekin' excited....I think I'd be in the 2ww, but I'm not charting and not totally positive I've O'd yet (but soon enough, I think).

Yay for babies! Best wishes to all of you as well.

Soul-O -- You can usually figure it out by running it under some water. Semen is water soluble, CM is not.

woah! really?? neat! :P

The things I've read say not to count mucus until at least 24 hr after dtd. I'm sure tomorrow will tell for you mama!

My 16 mo. old ds has majorly increased the frequency of his nursing during the day and woke up about every 2 hours to nurse last night! He ate a very small dinner, and his molars are coming in. A little worried that the increase might cause problems if we did conceive this month though - I'm 7 dpo and a little crampy. thoughts?

I'm only 4 days past ovulation and it's KILLING ME! Anyone else dying in the 2ww? I'm so glad I bought several pg tests since I know I'll be blowing through them come next Wednesday.

Steelermom, Runnerbean, and Hopefull2009: Yay for O'ing and wishing you all great luck this 2ww.

LittleGreyMare: So sorry about the frustrating cycle. I hope you 'O' soon!

AFM: CD3. Grr. I didn't feel like I was going to be pregnant this cycle, but I tell ya, I darn well should have been! This was our 7th cycle trying, and I tried the whole bag of tricks: acupuncture, robitussin around 'o', shatavari, vitex for the past 4 months or so, perfect bd timing, even took progesterone suppositories from 3 dpo, etc. So now I'm off all the darn supplements (except FA, of course), and tonight we will start to wean. I am so sad and disappointed that I'm one of the supposed "very few" who don't get pregnant while nursing. Obviously, I assume I'd eventually get pregnant if I could keep nursing and trying for another year or so. But, age-wise, I just don't have the time. So, DH will put DD down tonight without me, and we'll do that for the next 4 nights or so. I figure I'll drop a feeding every week or two, with the goal of being done within two months. (We're only nursing 3x/day.) Also, I told my husband I want a break from trying so hard while I'm weaning. So, no crazy bd'ing around 'o' when neither of us feel like it, no supplements, etc. I need to just enjoy my little one rather than be constantly stressing over this seemingly impossible task of trying to get pregnant again!

Sorry for the novel.

Babydust to all!

Thanks for the info! I had some watery CM today, but no temp shift, so I think I'm just getting into the fertile phase rather than leaving it. I'm pretty sure that O is coming in the next 3 - 5 days (fingers crossed!).

I'm 6 dpo today, but I had a TON of EWCM this morning, I tried the "water" test to confirm it was semen, but I could've done something wrong I guess. I know it's totally possible to get EWCM before AF too, so maybe that's it since I've only had 1 AF so far. But I did take another OPK and it was negative. So I'm here obsessing, but have nothing so far. BFN's because I'm a POAS addict.

I would love to join this thread. I am in the very beginnings of TTC #2. I unfortunately have to deal with infertility due to PCOS. To conceive DD I had to go on clomid since I never O'd on my own that I know of. I am having AF about once a month now which is huge but if this is a cycle I am in, I have been spotting every week. So frustrating. Anyway, DD is 13 months and I don't want to wean her to take clomid again so I am hoping it will happen naturally. Just very frustrated with all this damn spotting.

I'm 4dpo today too! I've been getting af at 9dpo, but started b6 this month. I'm hoping that helps... in the meantime, I'm obsessing way too much. If I make it to 10dpo (next Wednesday), that would be great news for me! Either I'm pg, or at least my lp is longer, which is a very good start.

I checked some of my past charts and I've gotten ewcm past O several times. Then again, maybe you are just dropping 2 eggs this cycle?

Yeah! A cycle buddy. fingers crossed that the b6 lengthens your lp. Hopefully by it being longer you will get pg!

meowmama, OH HUGS with the weaning i hope it goes smoothly for you -- that always makes me feel that it means your LO is sort of ready kwim? but still, it stinks when it feels like you are trying everything else possible to do things "right" and you STILL can't catch a break! fingers crossed to a quick and clean weaning and then super quick BFP!!! *HUGS*

welcome to the new friends!

AFM: cd6 here. nothing exciting to report, just hoping the trend of O taking a few less days every cycle continues so we'll get some action around cd14-16 instead of 20 this time. and no y.i. either eh?

I was on clomid to conceive as well. We tried for 21 months to conceive, I had 3 miscarriages (before 6 weeks) during this time, and did clomid for 9 months, had 1 round of gonal-f, a seperate round of clomid with IUI, a hydrosonogram to check for problems, and then a hysteroscopy with polypectomy, and then I finally got a sticky bean and he's almost 1yr now. Good luck mama, and BTW, you CAN TOTALLY take clomid while nursing. My doc just told me he'd give me clomid again when ever I'm ready. Spotting can be a sign of low progestrone tho and I'd say you probably need progest supplements at least.

You are 3 days ahead of me and right now that sound like a lifetime. haha! I would love to start testing myself as well, but need to keep myself distracted until next Wednesday. I kept thinking, "I was able to wait a year to get my cycles back, the 2ww will be a breeze." HA! yah right. it's the longest 2 weeks of a ttc woman's life.
