What's your PP bleeding been like?

I am 18 days PP and my bleeding has really not let up. It's like I have had a medium flow period this entire time. I'm starting to get concerned. And annoyed.

I'll ask the obvious question... have you been taking it easy?

With DD I bled like that for almost 3 weeks and my mother (nurse) was quite concerned but I ignored her. No ill effects, but in hindsight there were lots of clots and things and I probably should have had it checked out. This time, my bleeding stopped within about 10 days and I have VERY light spotting once or twice a day and it is quite watery. We were 3wks yesterday.

Yuck. That about sums it up. It's been stop and start for about a week (since 1.5 weeks pp), but if I'm on my feet too much or stress too much or work out at all (yoga was a disaster), it's back to heavy w/ clots. Normally it's...thick-ish bloody mucus more than anything, that doesn't come out easily. Sheesh...this part is so disgusting.
I am SO freaking sick of wearing pads. I hate them!!

I think this is about right for what I had w/ DD1...i remember the starting and stopping. I'll be SO glad when this part is over though!

i think mine lasted about 3 weeks too, it seemed like it would last forever do take it easy, i couldn't even walk around the grocery w/o getting the flo started again

I'll only be 2 weeks pp on Wednesday and my bleeding had stopped already until I over did it yesterday and woke up with a major gush this morning and have had spotting on and off all day today. So, I'm back to trying to take it easy, which isn't really possible most of the time.

Mine hasn't been too bad. The first night was pretty gross..I was killing those big huge diapers that they put on you at the hospital.

Now it's like a normal period. I did pass a decent size clot this afternoon. But not too bad.

i've had my first very very very light day today and its only day 5 so i KNOW its not over but i've had LOTS of help around the house since the baby has been born so i've been glued to the couch pretty much since i had her

Some days it stops completely, other days it's just weird. I'm not overdoing it at. all so I'm not sure what's going on. I have a midwife appt. Friday so going to let them know what's going on. Have had some pain in my lower abdomen as well, especially when straining to have a BM (tmi, sorry) and I don't know if that's normal or not.

I'm 16 days pp.

Mine's like that. Some days I think it's on the outs and then I'll suddenly have more bleeding the next day. Mine's been very light the last 2 days so I'm hoping this is the beginning of the end. It seems to be more brownish tinted now too.
